The lineup moved through house, techno, electro, experimental sounds, jungle, breaks and everything in between—bringing together artists such as Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, DJ Nobu, Ben UFO, Octo Octa, Eris Drew, DVS1, Fumiya Tanaka, Helena Hauff, Objekt, Ricardo Villalobos, The Black Dog, Surgeon, SHERELLE, Skrillex and many more, while also giving space to artists and projects that deserve to be discovered rather than simply recognized.

But the real reason we're putting Dekmantel on your radar isn't the lineup.

Dekmantel stretches beyond one giant field.

The festival's At Dawn program opens the Amsterdamse Bos stages in the late morning, creating a more intimate environment for sonic exploration before the main festival day gets moving.

There is also a city component, with programming extending into Amsterdam venues rather than treating the festival as something completely separated from the city around it.

And behind the scenes, Dekmantel relies on a volunteer community that helps build the festival, welcome people, work sustainability operations and keep the experience moving.
